Wheels meet again
Purple-clad Festival Makers who ensure Bournemouth’s Wheels Festival is a success will be using Yellow Buses to get around – for the third year in a row.
The company is the official transport provider for the volunteers who will oil the wheels of the festival to make everything run smoothly.
Additional resources have been added to help the tens of thousands of visitors get around the town between June 3 and 5.
Yellow Buses’ website has a page of details about what’s happening and how to get there and its social media team will be updating its Twitter and Facebook accounts with news.
Jenni Wilkinson, Yellows’ Head of Marketing and Customer Excellence, said: “Once again we’ll be doing our part to ensure the Wheels Festival runs as smoothly as possible.
“As well as providing travel for the Festival Makers we’ll be doing plenty of other things to assist.
“Our Customer Service Centre in the Bournemouth Square will be open on Friday and Saturday morning selling travel products, and we will have online updates and staff will be keen to answer questions.
“Our Gallery Bus, History Bus and AFC Bournemouth Bus will all be in service during the festival and we hope visitors like them as much as our regular passengers do.”
The festival will include Monster trucks, supercars and classic cars among a host of other highlights.
