Howard Goodbourn

RATP Dev UK Group Chief Financial Officer

Howard Goodbourn joined RATP Dev UK as Chief Financial Officer and brings of 30 years’ experience of finance leadership.

Prior to joining RATP, Howard began his career with Touche & Ross in the 1980s and has since undertaken a wide range of finance and treasury leadership roles in businesses including Charterhouse Bank, TXU Europe and Eon UK. Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer for Southern Water (2004 – 2011) and subsequently Chief Financial Officer for City of London Group PLC (2011 – 2016).

Howard lives in West Sussex with his family.

 

 

Catherine Chardon

Managing Director of RATP Dev Londoncchardon

Catherine Chardon is a long-time employee of RATP Group and RATP Dev and has held several senior executive positions, delivering bus and rail services. Before Catherine moved to London, she was the chief executive officer in North America. Catherine spent four years in New York in that role, leading a major push into the North American marketplace.

Catherine held senior positions in France and Switzerland before her move to the USA and the UK.

She was given the role of business transformation director and chief digital officer for RATP Dev UK in September 2018. Catherine was appointed managing director in March 2019.

 

 

 

 

Martin Curtis

Managing Director Bath Bus Company

Martin is Managing Director of Bath Bus Company, originally formed with former colleagues in 1997, and operates in Bath, Cardiff, Eastbourne and Windsor.

Bath Bus Company was acquired by RATP Dev UK in 2011.

Martin began his career in 1972 with the Bristol Omnibus Company. He became Traffic Assistant and then Traffic Superintendent with Western National.

Following a period as District Manager with Southern National, he joined the newly created Badgerline bus company and took over as Regional Director, Bath in 1987.

Martin has written a number of books covering aspects of Bristol Omnibus and Bristol Commercial Vehicles history.

Martin is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.

 

 

Selwyn Jones

Managing Director Selwyns Travel

Selwyn is Managing Director of Selwyns Travel which he co-founded in 1968 with his father. The Company has grown from its humble beginnings to a major transport provider in the North West of England operating in Manchester, Runcorn and St Helens.

Selwyns Travel was acquired by RATP Dev UK in March 2013.

Selwyn has been involved with every aspect of the business including, driving coaches in the UK and Europe, engineering, operations, sales, marketing and general management through to his current role as Managing Director with responsibility for the development of Selwyn’s Travel throughout the North West.

Selwyn has been instrumental in growing the business both organically and through acquisitions.

Selwyn has been a member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport for over 40 years and been a member of the Guild of British Coach Operators for 20 years having served as both a Director and Chairman.
